About Pup & Go

We are a dedicated Christchurch couple with a soft spot for dogs. After years of caring for dogs of all temperaments, we developed a deep affinity for them. That natural connection is why we cater to them today, allowing us to focus on environments that are safe and matched to their needs.

Consistent, paced exercise and companionship are vital for a dog’s physical and mental health. It burns energy, settles emotions, and reduces nuisance behaviours like barking or restlessness.

We use appropriate gear and pacing to ensure every walk, visit, or overnight stay is safe, enriching, and never overwhelming.

Experience & Approach

We have years of experience caring for our own family pack of 5 dogs, we actively volunteer with Dogwatch and each hold current pet first-aid certificates.

We believe in gentle guidance, predictable routines, and setting dogs up for success—keeping them safe and happy is our absolute priority.

Small-group social walks (max 4 dogs) carefully matched for compatibility. For friendly small dogs who enjoy gentle companionship and enrichment.

We focus on calm, positive interactions—no overcrowding or chaos. Just safe, happy socialisation.

In-Home Care

Flexible care in your own home—from quick visits (toileting, feeding, company) to overnight stays while you are away.

We stick to your dog’s routine—feeding, walking, playing, and cuddling. We also bring in mail, water plants, and keep your home secure.

Do you walk dogs of all sizes?
Yes! We welcome dogs of all sizes for our solo walks and in-home care. Our social pack walks are reserved for small breed dogs.
Do you have safe dog-handling skills?
Yes—we volunteer with Dogwatch, currently certified Green Dog Handling; we have current pet first-aid certificates and only use positive reinforcement.
Do you pick up and drop off?
Yes, within our service areas.
How long are the walks?
Solo walks are 30 minutes; pack walks vary slightly based on the group’s pace.
Do you take unvaccinated dogs?
No—we only accept fully vaccinated dogs.
Can we meet first?
Yes—all new clients start with a meet & greet.
